Pest Management Systems
The pest management systems major is a multidisciplinary course of study that is part of the degree program in agricultural and food systems. Students take courses in the departments of Crop and Soil Sciences, Entomology, Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, and Plant Pathology. Students acquire a holistic perspective and ecological understanding of the philosophy, principles, and practices of pest management and are trained to become professional crop protection specialists.

Requirements and Core Courses
MAJOR IN PEST MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
All students are required to complete a minimum of 120 semester hours of course work to earn the Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Food Systems with a major in Pest Management. At least 40 of the total hours required must be in 300-400 level courses.
