The Dean's Honor Roll was established to recognize graduating seniors. These students will be recognized at the CAHNRS Awards Banquet.
Award Eligibility
May graduates must have earned at least 36 credit hours at WSU, which may include courses taken during their final semester. They must have a WSU cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better prior to their final semester (i.e. end of fall semester prior to May graduation).
August graduates must have earned at least 36 credit hours at WSU, which may include summer session. They must have a WSU cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better prior to their final semester.
December graduates must have earned 36 credit hours at WSU, which may include their final semester. They must have a WSU cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better prior to their final semester (i.e. end of spring or summer course work).
Nomination Guidelines
CAHNRS department chairs will identify eligible students, assuring that all graduating students are considered and that those students who graduated the previous May are not duplicated on the current year's list.
In order for Dean's Honor Roll students to be recognized, departments MUST submit a release form signed by each student to Academic Programs to allow CAHNRS to post their name on the CAHNRS Awards site, and other publications. Departments may get individual signatures or create a group form for all students to sign. The following disclaimer may be used: By submission of this form, I grant Washington State University (WSU) permission to publish my name for use in promotional, educational, display or other media publications including newspapers, magazines, television, brochures, pamphlets, instructional material, books, internet, web pages and/or other educational material. Please verify that publication on the CAHNRS Awards site does not violate the student's confidentiality (FERPA).
Selection Process
Dean's Honor Roll candidates are identified by department chairs.
Award Announcement
Recipients will be acknowledged at the CAHNRS Awards Banquet.
