CAHNRS Student Senate Message

Hello Everyone, and Welcome! It is a great privilege to have the Student Senate of the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences present to you the 50th Annual Awards Banquet. This year’s theme of “Blooming Inspirations and Innovative Impact” shows the developments that have taken place in the College this year, and impacts that will occur in years to come.
As CAHNRS Students, we recognize that the College’s success would not be possible without the dedicated support of faculty, staff, the community, and student leaders. We are proud to be a part of a college that conducts ground-breaking research, produces innovative solutions to complex problems, and enthusiastically faces tomorrow’s challenges. It is our pleasure to take this opportunity to personally recognize and thank those who have done invaluable work within the college, community, and world this year.
We would especially like to thank those who have so generously supported the CAHNRS scholarship program, which gives out over $400,000 of scholarship support. This program is truly an investment in the future, and those who donate are appreciated for their active interest in the advancement of agriculture, human, and natural resource sciences.
We offer our congratulations to many deserving award nominees, and give a special thank you to the Cougar parents in attendance, who have come to support their children tonight.
